Mixed groups (we reserve the right to refuse entry if groups are not mixed)
Everyone being over 21

REGULAR TABLE BOOKINGS

(Main Bar and Roof Terrace)

There are no minimum spends in this area. Booking a table is free of charge!

On Thursdays and Sundays you will be required to pre-authorise your card for £10 per person upon booking. No money will be charged unless you fail to show up or cancel with less than 48 hours notice.

On Fridays and Saturdays you will be required to make a payment of £10 per person upon booking. This will act as your entry fees for the evening. This is non-refundable unless you cancel with at least 48 hours notice.

PLEASE NOTE: All cancellations/changes to your booking must be made in writing via email at info@goldenbee.co.uk.

VIP AREA – ROOF TERRACE

There is a minimum spend for booking the VIP area on our roof terrace. Prices start at £1500 but will vary depending on the day of the week.
50% of the minimum spend will be required as a deposit in order to secure the booking.
Remaining 50% of the minimum spend will have to be paid on arrival before first orders or prior to event at your convenience.

Please note that due to high demand we cannot hold any dates until a 50% deposit is paid. 

The deposit is fully refundable should you cancel your booking in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the booking.

GUESTLIST

Guestlist will guarantee your entry to the venue before 10pm. A guestlist booking does not include a seating area and access to the roof terrace is NOT guaranteed. Early arrival is recommended to gain access to the roof terrace.

Please note that door charges apply on Fridays and Saturdays even if you are on the guestlist. 

MEZZANINE BOOKING

There is a minimum spend for booking the mezzanine level exclusively, prices vary depending on the day of the week.
In order to secure the booking we require a £500 deposit. The remaining amount will need to be paid at least two weeks prior to your event. The deposit is fully refundable should you cancel your booking in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the booking.

Booking the mezzanine level will not give you the access to the roof terrace.

ID Scanner

The Golden Bee has the facility to operate an ID Scanner. This will always be in use for ticketed, promoted events and may also be used at other times at the discretion of the management. Please ensure you always have photo identification to ensure entry to the venue. We will not be held liable should you be refused entry as a result of failing to have the necessary ID.

PHOTOGRAPHY

We upload photos from Friday and Saturday nights on our Facebook and Instagram pages. On Facebook they are uploaded the following week and on Instagram a select few will be featured.

Please note that when you enter the Golden Bee venue you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Golden Bee and its affiliates and representatives.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed please inform a member of staff. 

 Frequently Asked Questions

What is the latest booking time?

The latest booking time inside the main bar area is 11pm and 6.30pm on the roof terrace.

What if I am late for my booking?

We will only hold tables for a maximum on 30 minutes after your booking time. If you are later than this then it is likely your table will be given away to walk-ins. You would still be able to enter the venue on a walk in basis with no table, however there may be a wait due to capacity.

Will I be charged?

If you have pre-authorised your card upon booking (bookings on Thursday and Sunday) your money will only be claimed if you fail to show up for your booking or give us less than 48 hours notice to cancel.  Cancellations should be made in writing via email at info@goldenbee.co.uk.

If you have paid £10 per person for your door entry fees upon booking (bookings on Friday and Saturday) and you fail to show up for your booking or give us less than 48 hours notice to cancel you will be charged. Cancellations should be made in writing via email at info@goldenbee.co.uk.

Do you have a lost property section?

Yes we do. We will hold all lost property for 1 month only. After this time lost property will be donated to charity.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. However, we now have a retractable roof cover, so rain or shine we can stay open on the roof terrace.

What time does the roof terrace close at?

The roof terrace closes at 1am due to our license, but everyone can join the rest of the party downstairs until late!

What is our dress code?

Smart casual wear.
No hats.
No flip flops
Smart tailored shorts and smart trainers are allowed.
No sports wear.
Strictly no fancy dress or fancy dress accessorises.
