The roof garden at Golden Bee is already one of Shoreditch’s most loved venues. People looking for outdoor bars in London are never disappointed when they discover our luxurious, secluded rooftop bar, just a stone’s throw from Old Street tube station and the trendy East End neighbourhood of Shoreditch. Now, you can come and enjoy the spectacular views and delicious drinks as we reopen our doors to the public under government-approved social distancing guidelines.

Whether you’re a returning regular, or a new customer looking forward to enjoying a professionally mixed cocktail at one of London’s best bars after months at home, you’re welcome to join us on the roof terrace bar at Golden Bee. We value the wellbeing of our patrons and our staff above everything, so we’ve made some important changes to ensure that everyone can enjoy their night as safely as possible.

We’re incredibly lucky at Golden Bee to have one of East London’s best roof gardens. With views over the city skyline and an all-weather canopy system in place, it’s already enjoyed by thousands of revellers all year round. The main indoor bar will remain closed for now, but will re-open on Friday 25th June 2021.  We’re also delighted to announce that our happy hour deals will be available on Thursdays & Sundays.

Golden Bee is always prepared to provide a brilliant summer space away from the stress of the city for your relaxing drinks, or for your special occasions. We are advising all groups to book in advance to ensure a spot in our new, socially distanced seating plan.

The seating on the roof terrace has been carefully spaced out, allowing enough space to practice social distancing. You’ll be able to enjoy your time soaking up the sun in the open air at Golden Bee safe in the knowledge that all available hygiene and biosecurity precautions are in place. Staff will be wearing suitable protective equipment, the space will be cleaned regularly with products proven to kill Covid-19, and there will also be hand sanitiser stationed at the entrance and around the venue. At Golden Bee we are dedicated to offering you a relaxing escape from the stresses of the city, and we’re delighted to be re-opening our doors on 15th April 2021.

During your visit to Golden Bee, you’ll be able to enjoy our all-weather terrace with the musical accompaniment of some of the city’s best DJs. We’ve got a fantastic line up who will help you get into that summer party mood in the open air.

Due to the reduced capacity under social distancing measures, the best way to ensure a prime spot for your group, overlooking the city skyline, is to book ahead with us online (see our booking page for details). Once our bookable tables are all reserved we will operate a first come, first serve basis for the remaining areas. If you don’t manage to book a table online its worth trying to enter on a walk in basis as we will always save space for walk-ins.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion with us and have a particular request or idea for your event, then you can discuss it with our events team and they’ll do their best to accommodate.
